2010 Annual Meeting, January 26th
Our Annual Meeting will be at the President’s Dinner, January 26th, 2010 at 7pm, the Delaney House, Holyoke, MA.. We will be placing our new bylaws into operation, as we have applied for a tax-exempt identification number from the Department of Treasury. You can go to the About Us page to read through these prior to our meeting. Taking Care of Business- Brunelle’s Marina 50th Anniversary
We just recently finished the channel 15 filming of the most recent episode of “Taking Care of Business”. Past shows about Carey’s Flowers and Chapdelaine’s Furniture are also in the SHCTV15 archives. Justin and Dan do an excellent job of helping to showcase the history and people behind the longevity and success of these local companies. 2nd Annual Economic Forum, Tuesday November 17th
Join us for breakfast at Mount Holyoke College as we discuss the past, current and future economic conditions we face, as a business community. Our two speakers from last year will be with us again, Professor James Hartley from Mt. Holyoke College and John Gardner, Investment Strategist for FundQuest, BNP Parabis International. Premier Beyond Business, Tuesday, September 22nd
Come join our Premier Members as we hold our networking event at The Sycamores, in South Hadley. Our Guest Speaker will be Ken Williamson from the South Hadley Historical Society, who will be speak on The Sycamores history and renovation. Our Premier Members who will be sponsoring the event are: Berkshire Bank, Chicopee Savings Bank, Easthampton Savings Bank, Florence Savings Bank, Jubinville Insurance Group, Peoples Savings Bank and Private Financial Design. The cost is $5 at the door with refreshments and drinks provided. Please RSVP to our Chamber Office 532-6451, by September 18th.
Beyond Business at Shadowbrook Estates, July 21st, 5pm-7pm
Our next Beyond Business will be at 57 Shadowbrook Estates, Tuesday, July 21st, 5pm-7pm. Our host will be Marcia Petri, of Carlson GMAC. Take this opportunity to view one of the outstanding custom built condos at Shadowbrook. Maybe you, or someone you know, may be interested in living here! Only 4 units left in the last and final phase of Shadowbrook Estates. Good food, drink and door prizes will be part of this popular networking event series. Golf Tournament at the Ledges, June 22nd!
Come to Our Annual Golf Tournament, co-sponsored with the South Hadley Lions Club. This is our main scholarship fundraising event and a fun day of golf and good food. We sent out the sign-up sheets a few weeks ago, but if you have any questions about playing or sponsoring, please call or email us for more information.
Beyond Business at Wingate, June 9th
Wingate, in South Hadley, will be hosting our next Beyond Business event on Tuesday, June 9th, from 5pm to 7pm. Refreshments, door prizes and an opportunity to chat with other business folks are all a part of our popular series. If you haven’t been to Wingate to see their upgrades, you’ll be impressed with their continuing efforts to maintain the highest quality of care for their residents. Annual President’s Dinner, January 27th 5pm-8pm
